Connor McCray was born in Pennsylvania in 1993 and began playing guitar at age 15, honing his craft for years before joining Erie, PA based Death Metal band Bravura in 2015. Over the next three years he expanded his reputation greatly, playing alongside bands such as Kataklysm, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Hammerfall, Angra and After The Burial before leaving the band in 2018 to pursue a solo career before joining NY based band Dredneks in 2019 and forming PA based Power Metal band Vis Mystica in 2020. Regarded as one of the fastest guitarists on the East Coast of the USA, Connor has earned specific plaudits for his Neoclassical soloing style and sweep arpeggios.
